Matt Hanson

Matt Hanson is a writer, data reporter and web developer from Leawood, Kansas. As a senior, Matt is the web editor for the Daily Nebraskan. In the past he’s written articles for the paper’s news and arts sections. Before coming to UNL, Matt spent three semesters at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth and studied abroad with “Semester at Sea” in the spring of 2015, during which he traveled to 14 countries on four continents. This summer Matt will intern at The Buffalo News as a data reporter. After his graduation in December, he hopes to start his own media company or get a job as a data reporter at a daily newspaper.
