Calla Kessler

Calla Kessler of Omaha, Nebraska, is a third-year photojournalism student. She interns at the Lincoln Journal Star and has worked as a social media manager for National Geographic photographer Joel Sartore. Her love of meeting new people has fueled her interest in photojournalism. This project has positively influenced her ability to tell stories visually and she hopes to employ these lessons in future career as a photographer for a newspaper or magazine. In her spare time, she enjoys butchering the lyrics to your father's favorite 70s hit on karaoke night.
